What Prethera Is
Prethera is a reflection and journaling tool designed for adults who are currently in therapy or exploring personal growth. It is not medical software. It does not diagnose mental health conditions, recommend treatments, or provide crisis counseling. You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional care.
Not for Emergencies
Do not rely on Prethera in emergencies. If you or someone you know is at risk of immediate harm, contact emergency services (911 in the U.S.) or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Prethera. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person.
Your Content
You own the content you create in Prethera (journal entries, reflections, session preps). We do not claim ownership of your content. We access it only as needed to provide the service (e.g., generating AI summaries at your request).
AI-Generated Content
Prethera uses AI to generate summaries, theme analyses, session recaps, personalized guiding questions, and support chat responses. These outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They must not be interpreted as clinical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Use your own judgment and consult your therapist for clinical matters.
Acceptable Use
Use Prethera for its intended purpose: personal reflection and therapy preparation. Do not use the service to store content unrelated to personal reflection, abuse the AI features, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Plan Tiers and Limits
Prethera offers Free, Plus, and Pro plans with different usage limits. We reserve the right to adjust plan features and pricing. Changes to paid plans will be communicated in advance.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may disable or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Prethera is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prethera and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of Prethera after changes constitutes acceptance.
